Kolkata Knight Riders rode on a sensational opening spell from Shoaib Akhtar to pull off a fine 23-run win over Delhi Daredevils.

Shoaib, much in the headlines for all the wrong reasons, showed why he is rated so highly, and shattered the much-vaunted Delhi top-order, removing skipper Virender Sehwag, tournament top-scorer Gautam Gambhir, AB de Villiers and Manoj Tiwary in a span of three overs.

Laxmi Ratan Shukla also did his bit, claiming the last three Delhi wickets in just five balls to end the proceedings.

For Delhi, Tillekeratne Dilshan and Amit Mishra showed some fight but nothing else worked as they slid to their fourth straight defeat.

Earlier, Kolkata never got off the ground against a sustained Delhi bowling and finished with a very moderate 133-6 in their 20 overs.

No Kolkata batsman apart from Salman Butt and to some extent David Hussey, managed to get any measure of the Delhi bowling and struggled for runs throughout.

Butt scored a polished 48 and Hussey contributed 31. Faraveez Maharoof and V. Yomahesh claimed two wickets each.

Earlier, Sourav Ganguly welcomed Shoaib Akhtar to his playing XI, and then decided to give him a breather, as the hosts batted first.

In an effort towards that, Ganguly called up Shoaib to bolster his bowling, while young left-arm spinner Iqbal Abdullah also came in, in place of Murali Kartik.

For Delhi, skipper Virender Sehwag kept out Dinesh Karthik and called in Manoj Tiwary.

It was poor batting display from Delhi. They got bowled out for just 110 runs. Amit Mishra (31) and Dilshan (25) were the only scorers for the Delhi team. Akhtar's destructive spell of (4/11) early in the innings made it difficult for Delhi to chase a target of 134 runs. Kucheludu' for July 18

"Kucheludu'- Rajinikanth's remake of the Malayalam super hit ‘Katha Parayumpol’ will grace the theatres on July 18.
The interesting thing about the movie is that Malayalees will get an opportunity to compare it with its original, as the movie will be released in Kerala by Seven Arts International, one of its producers.
The movie will get released in at least 80 centers of the state.
The Tamil and Telugu rights of the movie was grabbed by Pyramid Saimira at more than 60 crores.
As the production cost of the movie will come to just under 40 crores, the movie will prove to be a profit to its producers even before its theatrical release.
Rajini will play himself in this film with Kavithalaya producing the film in Tamil and Ashwini Dutt producing the film in Telugu. Nayantara, Jagapathi Babu, Meena, Vadivelu are also in the cast.
The same film is being filmed in Hindi with SRK playing the lead role and titled 'Billu Barber'.

Bujjigadu 16th May

Bujjigadu movie is set to release on 16th May. High expectations are there on this movie because of the combination of director Puri Jagannadh and hero Prabhas. Already Puri Jagannadh gave hat trick hits like 'Pokiri, Desamuduru and Chirutha' and is getting ready to continue his winning streak with 'Bujjigadu', and being produced by KS Rama Rao on the banner of Creative Commercials. It may be recalled here that Mohanbabu is playing a key role as heroine's brother in this movie.

Directed by Puri Jagannadh and having Prabhas & Trisha in the lead roles 'Bujjigadu – Made in Chennai' is heading for release at a fast pace. The film is being produced by the Creative Commericals banner. The movie is in the last phase of completion and only three songs need to be filmed yet.

While speaking on the film the director has reportedly suggested that the story of this film is sure to strike a chord with the masses and a good entertainer. He has also assured that the film will be a huge commercial hit for the hero.

Another highlight of this film is the role essayed by Dr. Mohan Babu. Much news has already flowed out regarding the 'young' look that this seasoned actor is doning in this film. The crowd is curious to have a first look at him. The director has also expressed his happiness in working with the producer K.S.Rama Rao.

While the producer spoke on the film he said that 'Bujjigadu' too will be a big hit like 'Chanti'. The producer was all praise for the effort put in by the hero Prabhas. The music of the film has done wonders to the story, and the producer is certain that this film be a hit in the musical aspects too.

The cast of this film includes Prabhas, the hero of the film, Dr. Mohan Babu, who gets to play a prominent role, Trisha is the heroine. Perhaps no other institution in the world has paid more homage to motherhood than Bollywood. Some of the greatest films of the industry were anchored around Maa, the proverbial mother of India, who was often characterized by unflinching devotion towards her children with a selfless love and spirit of sacrifice.
Maa also spurned some great dialogues, some of them achieving a cult status. Every Indian swears by the Mere Paas Maa Hai dialogue. And millions of mothers in India still have some famous Bollywood songs devoted to them on their birthdays or now, the oft-celebrated Mother’s Day. Isn’t the song Ae Ma Teri Surat Se Alag Bhagwan Ki Surat Kya Hogi a national mother’s anthem of sorts?

The way Bollywood has portrayed mothers is also a barometer of change: Indian mothers have moved on, albeit their priorities and devotion still being towards their family. Durga Khote essayed a variety of roles in her career of almost 50 years, and was adored by a nation for playing Jodhabai in Mughal-E-Azam. Durga was all about sacrifice. However Lalita Pawar, with her long innings and almost 300 films to her credit, was a mother who had shades of gray. Amir Banu was a motherly face in the 40s and the 50s; she portrayed a helpless, vulnerable mother in most of her movies. Movie buffs will also remember Leela Chitnis, who played with élan the ‘suffers in silence’ sort of a mother.

The lovely, sensuous Nargis, will also apart from other roles, always be remembered for her righteous, stoic mother act --- Mother India to be precise. Rakhee, another gorgeous actress of her time shares a similar story. She has won over audiences with her oomph and style and also with a casting coup in which she played mother to Amitabh Bachchan (Shakti). Of course, as luck would have it, she would also play mother to another super star ----- Shah Rukh Khan in Baazigar. Nirupa Roy, who is perhaps one of the most loved Maa of Bollywood never got a chance to showcase her lovely looks on screen. For she was most often draped in a widow’s garb and tears and a coughing spell were her constant companions. Kamini Kaushal was a mother fixture of the 70s and played the mother in a number of Manoj Kumar movies.

So how have mothers changed in present day Bollywood? For one thing, thankfully, we have done away (almost) with the widowhood syndrome. Even if mothers are widowed, they no longer sport the shroud like white, neither are they melancholy or forever brooding over their dead husbands or missing-in-action husband (remember Kirron Kher in Hum Tum?). They are also getting younger. Preity Zinta (Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna), Rani Mukherji in the disastrous Ta Ra Rum Pum to name but a few. Bollywood mothers, thankfully now have a life, a career and a passion apart from their husbands, children and house drudgery (Preity Zinta again in Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, as the editor of a woman’s fashion magazine). Not that they are any less loving or doting. Doesn’t Preity in Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna tell her suitor, after she had been dumped by her husband, that she wants some time, time to be with her son? Remarriage can wait.Didn’t we tell you, nothing quite like good old Maa.

Mothers and daughters, Bollywood is famous for that from the time the young and lovely Hema Malini came down from the South to become the film industry’s Dream Girl accompanied by “Amma” — Mrs Jaya Chakravorty.

Rekha, who did the same and almost at the same time, came unaccompanied... and went onto to become the Seductress. Or Enchantress. No wonder! But by and large, mothers preferred to stay by their daughters’ side in this big, bad world of films. Some mothers who were yesteryear actresses like Babita and Tanuja, introduced their daughters Karisma and Kareena and Kajol and Tanisha respectively to the business.

While Neetu Singh, who had no celeb mother, did the needful for son Ranbir last year. She gets more compliments than my sisters and me. When we were young, people would look at us twice and enquire if we were really her children. Nobody believed it. Introduction

The incredibly slim and trim figure of NTR – a carry forward brand from Yamadonga – unleashed a sea of expectations among the Telugu film lovers all over the world. The persisting dilemma whether NTR could once again mesmerize the audiences with his uncanny figure in Kantri - just as he did in Yamadonga, got fizzled out. Yes. NTR is the clear winner. He ripped the screen with his electrifying dances and bone-breaking stunts and ferocious dialogues and what not. It is altogether an NTR film; and there is not much that you can expect from the entertainment angle. The film might soon slip into the flip side.

Synopsis

Kranti aka Kantri (NTR) is a Good Samaritan, who, to put it in his own words: "Kantri for cheats." An orphan himself, he soon finds himself in the midst of baddies, forced to be part of their empire. Their boss is Pothu Raju aka PR (Prakash Raj), who rules his ring of operations from counterfeit currency to smuggling to all dark business in Hyderabad, with his seat in Hong Kong. Seshu (Asish Vidyarthi), Acid (Raghu Babu) and Bairagi (Subba Raju) look after PR's business in Hyderabad. Das (Sayaji Shinde), once loyalist of PR but now a separate mafia don himself, becomes a nail in the shoe of PR here. He confronts with the gang members or PR, who one after the other gets killed. A new youth force is raised up from time to time.

Kantri is one such guy. Soon, he gets into the centre of activities and directly handles the operations without consulting his immediate local bosses. This helps him win the confidence of PR. Kantri even goes to Hong Kong and puts an end to the business of PR's rival Murali Sharma (onetime loyalist) and clinches the deal. Back in Hyderabad, Kantri desperately needs Rs. 10 lakh to save the life of a patient at an orphanage, suffering from renal failure. When rejected, he kicks the local bosses and takes the money. He also doesn't care PR in this matter and gets into direct rivalry with him. Now, its PR's turn to land in Hyderabad to take on Kantri. But, all of a sudden, Father Atmanandam (Kota Srinivasa Rao), the head of the orphanage, reveals that Kantri is none other than the son of PR. After this revelation, Kantri takes the riches of PR as his son. Very soon, PR finds himself duped. His son is none but the patient with kidney failure. Meanwhile, the warring gangs forget their differences and join hands to kill Kantri. How Kantri liquidates them forms the rest of the story.

Performance

NTR as expected is the master of his own histrionics. Looking agile, bubbling with high levels of energy and charm, he rips the screen with amazing performance; say it in dances, stunts, dialogues and all other segments of acting. NTR as Kantri would sure make the audiences forget his previous molds of characterizations, hefty and round. Hansika Motwani is all glamour, but she utterly failed when it comes to performance. She played the role of a middle class girl. Another heroine Tanisha yet played the second fiddle.

Though, the director tried his level best to cull out the maximum mileage from the female charms, going by the story and situations, their characterization is rendered waste. Sunil and Brahmanandam's comedy thread is dull. Dharmavarapu Subramanyam and Hema played the parents to the heroine (Hansika). Murali Sharma who played the rival to Prakash Raj in the backdrop of Hong Kong did well, but the footage is limited. Same is the case with the other villains Ashish Vidyarthi and Sayaji Shinde. Subbaraju's performance as confident of NTR (in disguise) is interesting.

Technical Details

Meher Ramesh, the debut director in Tollywood, donned the multiple responsibilities of story, screenplay, dialogues and directions. Naturally, the result is a cocktail resulting in headache. Story is completely devoted to inter-rivalry factor – the henchmen turning into bosses themselves. This monotonous story further dwells into twists and counter twists, which the audiences really don't seem to care at all. Screenplay is nagging.

First half is completely not-happening, giving the audiences a sense of boredom. The second half is merely wasted with the logic factor of the director himself. The characterization of the hero is not fully established. The villains who deal with not only the domestic operations but to the stretched out foreign locales are shown as clowns. To cut short, their characterization comes as more theatrical.

Direction is mediocre, but some shots are really commendable. Of course, grace coming in bits and flashes doesn't score full marks. Comedy is given a name's sake touch, with the boredom factor continuously pricking the audience. Songs are a feast to the eyes. They are terrific with extraordinary selection of locations. Music by Mani Sharma too sounded well in theatres, though it doesn't create that much impact in the audio market. Dialogues are good in part. The scene in which NTR comes cycling and rendering dialogues in favour of TDP is something to observe in the backdrop of state politics. Cinematography is superb. Technical standards of Vyjayanti Movies are not missed out even by an inch.

Over all, Kantri Very Big Hit. Too dramatic story and its irksome treatment are the main villains.

'దేశముదురు'తో హీరోయిన్‌గా తెరంగేట్రం చేసి తెలుగు ప్రేక్షకుల హృదయాల్ని దోచుకున్న హన్సికా మొత్వానీ ప్రధాన హీరోయిన్ కాగా, 'నీల్ అండ్ నిక్కీ' నాయిక, కాజోల్ చెల్లెలు తనీషా రెండో హీరోయిన్ పాత్రని చేసింది.
'కంత్రి' పాతికేళ్ల యువకుడి ప్రేమకథ. ఆ పాత్ర మహిళల్నీ, యువతనీ బాగా ఆకర్షిస్తుందని ఎన్టీఆర్ చెబుతున్నాడు. కథలోని మలుపు ప్రేక్షకుల్ని అలరిస్తుందని అంటున్నాడు. 'యమదొంగ' కోసం తొలిసారిగా పాడిన అతను '123 నేనొక కంత్రి' పాటను పాడాడు. ఆ పాట ఇప్పటికే చాలామంది నోట వినిపిస్తోంది. సినిమాలో మొత్తం ఆరు పాటలున్నాయి. వీటికి మణిశర్మ బాణీల్ని కూర్చాడు. రెండు డ్యూయెట్లని దక్షిణాఫ్రికాలోని కేప్‌టౌన్‌లో చిత్రీకరించారు. 'కంత్రి'లో రాజకీయ సంభాషణలున్నాయనీ, నేటి కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వాన్ని విమర్శిస్తూ ఎన్టీఆర్ డైలాగులు చెబుతాడనీ ప్రచారమవుతోంది. అయితే దీన్ని ఎన్టీఆర్ ఖండిస్తున్నాడు. "ప్రత్యేకంగా ఓ పార్టీ గురించో, మరొకరి గురించో ప్రస్తావించే రాజకీయ సంభాషణలు ఇందులో లేవు. కథానుగుణంగా సామాజిక శ్రేయస్సు దృష్ట్యా కొన్ని మాటలున్నా వాటికి రాజకీయాలతో ముడిపెట్టలేం" అని అతను తెలిపాడు. అయితే ఉన్నాయని చెబితే ఇప్పట్నించే విమర్శలు మొదలవుతాయనే ఉద్దేశంతోటే ఎన్టీఆర్ అలా చెబుతున్నాడని ఫిల్మ్‌నగర్ వర్గాలు అంటున్నాయి.
'కంత్రి' పబ్లిసిటీ పట్ల ఎన్టీఆర్ అభిమానులు అసంతృప్తిగా వుండటం గమనించదగ్గ అంశం. ఆడియోను చడీచప్పుడు లేకుండా మార్కెట్లో విడుదల చేయించిన నిర్మాత అశ్వనీదత్ ఆ తర్వాత కూడా సినిమాకి సరైన ప్రచారం ఇవ్వడం లేదనే అభిప్రాయాన్ని వారు వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు. 'జల్సా'కి జరిగిన ముందస్తు భారీ ప్రచారంతో పోల్చుకుంటే 'కంత్రి'కి అసలు పబ్లిసిటీ లేనట్లుగా వుందని వారంటున్నారు. 'యమదొంగ' మాదిరిగానే ఈ సినిమాలోనూ ఎన్టీఆర్ చేసే డాన్సులు, ఫైట్లు ప్రేక్షకుల్ని బాగా అలరిస్తాయని యూనిట్ సభ్యులు చెబుతున్నారు. కూచిపూడిలో చిన్నతనంలోనే శిక్షణపొందిన ఎన్టీఆర్ ఈ సినిమాలోని ఒక పాటలో సంప్రదాయ దుస్తులు ధరించి చేసే కూచిపూడి నాట్యం ప్రత్యేక ఆకర్షణ అవుతుందని వారు అంటున్నారు.

Television actress Shveta Salve says her bikini photo shoot for lifestyle magazine Maxim's cover page highlights her real self.

'If you have followed me, I have not been one of those typical sari clad 'bahus' (daughters-in-law). The shoot done for Maxim is nothing new. Wearing a bikini is not new for me. I am like that in real life also,' Shveta told on phone from Mumbai.

The actress was touted as the Madhuri Dixit of Indian television as she serenaded a million hearts with her perfect moves in Sony TV's reality dance show 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa'.

Now Shveta is all set to play the lead in Dharmesh Darshan's 'Bhanvraa' and says her career has just started.

'It is a romantic film about the youth of today who are rebellious in nature. Though I cannot divulge any details about the kind of role I am doing, I would just say that it is a typical Dharmesh Darshan movie.'

In the film, she is starring opposite television actors Ejaz Khan, Manav Gohil and Sangeeta Ghosh.

At the moment, Shveta is not looking forward to doing any specific roles.

'Being an actor, I will do all kinds of roles. There is no specific genre I am looking at, but the role should be challenging and should interest my creative talent,' she said.

The actress hasn't worked in any TV soaps for the past two years, but was off and on seen in dance shows like 'Ustaadon Ke Ustaad' and 'Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan'.

She says: 'Reality shows give you a chance to portray your actual self on television, unlike in a serial where you are fixed to a particular role, and are a lot more fun besides lasting only a short while.'

The Hindu Makkal Katchi (HMK), which has been acting as Tamil Nadu's moral police, is now targeting Mallika Sherawat the glam girl of Bollywood!

Mallika's "provocative" style of dressing at the Dasavatharam audio launch has irked the fundamentalists.

HMK activist S R Kaniraj has lodged a complaint with the Periyamet police station in Chennai, saying that Mallika has "caused mental agony and hurt to the sentiments of the people of Tamil Nadu by wearing a revealing mini skirt, exposing her back and sitting cross legged in front of the Chief Minister M Karunanidhi." HMK wants the police to take action against Mallika.

Details
Parugu is the secnd film of Bommarillu Bhaskar who earlier delivered a massive hit ´Bommarillu´. The film dealt with the subject of a son searching for his own identity under is father. The film beautifully showed the frustration of a son who is always kept in terms by his father. Parugu also deals with a family subject where it the centre is a father and his pain when his daughters elope with their boyfriends.

Bhaskar has failed in his second film as the film turned out to be a bore. Though the theme is good the film lost its track in its run and made the audience feel bored and disappointed. This is Arjun´s next film after his suoerhit Desamuduru so obviously the fans had great expectatins on the film. And the combination of Arjun, Bhaskar and Dil Raju also raised the expectations. But the film did not reach those expectations.

Neelakanta (Prakash Raj) is a big landlord in a village. His daughter Subbalakshmi (Poonam Bajwa) elopes with the son of a farm hand just minutes before her marriage. Neelakanta rounds up all the friend of the guy who ran way with his daughter. Among them is Krishna (Allu Arjun). Neelakanta locks them all up and says that he will let them go only after he traces his daughter. Krishna falls in love with a girl Meena(Sheela) andlatercomes to know that she is the second daughter of Neelakanta.

Meena now understand that it is Krishna who has helped his sister elope and also take shelter far away from her father’s reach. Neelakanta finally manages to get hold of Subbalakshmi but she tells her father to stop running after her and her husband.

Neelakanta goes back to his village and arranges for the marriage of his second daughter Meena. Krishna arrives with his friends on the day of the marriage. The rest of the story is whether Krishna succeeds in marrying Meena with Neelakanta´s approval or he also elopes with his lady.

Allu Arjun is best at his role. This is somewhat different from all his previous roles. He convinces nicely as an irresponsible and carefree guy. The character is simply class oriented and soft and completely lacks his mass appeal. But he has done his job to satisfaction.

Sheela as heroine is ok and has performed her role upto the mark. Prakash Raj as a loving father is as usual at his best in performance. he steals the entire show with his excelled performance. Sunil and others are okay. Jaya Sudha as Krishna´s mother has a very brief role. All others are ok in their roles.

Music is good and Vijay´s cinematography is worth mentioning.The songs “Vasthunna Nene Vasthunna…” and the hero introduction song Chal re chalo…” are good.

The film is very slow paced. First half has little humour while second half lacks even that. On the whole the film runs very slowly and make the audience feel bored. Definitely Arjun´s fans are disappointed with the film as the film lacks the mass appeal which Arjun has . The film cannot attract mass audience and class audience also only a particular set of people can enjoy it . Arjun is not apt for the role of Krishna, Bhaskar as made a wrong selection. Though he is good at action his style did not suit such a soft role. The family sentiment in the film is heavy and reflects the recent incident in Chiranjeevi´s house, his second daughter Srija´s marriage with her boyfriend

Chinna aka Jagan (Nithin) is a rugged guy who is the son of Lion Rajendra (Nagababu), an ethical businessman. He lives without any professionalresponsibility being the son of well-respected Rajendra. Sunanda (Kajal) is the daughter of another businessman Raghunath (Raghuvaran). The professional rivalry between Rajendra and Raghunath eventually turns to friendship. Bonala Shankar (TDP Shiva Prasad) is a cruel person in the city who holds many tobacco businesses. The tug develops between Rajendra and Bonala Shankar with respect to tobacco business. As Rajendras health goes sensitive due to weak blood cells doctor advises him to take rest and not to go stressful. Then the irresponsible son Chinna takes the responsibility to control the whims and fancies of Bonala Shankar in order to safeguard his fathers health. PerformancesNithin stood well in his shoes but need to work a lot with respect to facial expressions. He developed well in dances and also body tone. His dialogue delivery needs to be improved a lot. Kajal gave enough of visual treat with her beauty and glamour. She is ok with respect to expressions as well. Raghuvaran appeared last in the film and nothing can be pointed out in him. He was perfect as usual. Naga Babu also did well in his decent role.Jayasudha also acted his role very well. Shiva Prasad, the well known TDP leader for Penumur Constituency, Chittoor, played villain as Bonala Shankar in this film. He performed well and perfectly in tune with the required punch. In fact he played many small roles in films earlier. He can opt acting as his full time career. Music by Chakri is not so appealing. Other departments are just ok. Director Ravi Kumar Choudary worked well within the set-formula. But nothing great has some out from him.

How are you enjoying the success of Jalsa and good response for Bhale Dongalu?
It is a double bonanza for me. I am really happy about the success of the both the films!
You worked with best directors in Telugu within a short span! How was your interaction with them
Of course, I am very lucky to work with wonderful directors like YVS gaaru, Puri Jaganath, Krishnavamsi, V.N.Aditya, Trivikram gaaru, Vijayabhaskar gaaruetc. It is luck and my hard work which paid off to work with such a great directors.
I never had any problem with anyone. Working with them is like learing a new thing every day! But, above all, I definitely have gratitude towards YVS gaaru. I was totally a newcomer when I was doing Devadas and did not know anything about films. It is he who taught me patiently. So I am definitely more indebted to him than to others.
How did you feel working with heroes Like Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh and NTR Jr.?
Pawan gaaru and Mahesh gaaru are both much reserved people. They never used to interfere with others` works - their policy was to keep to themselves, complete their work and go. Tarak is fun to work with. He mingles with everyone easily. But everyone is a real professional in that they all work equally hard for scene betterment.
Apart from Telugu You also worked in a Tamil film, so any thoughts to continue in Tamil too?
My film in Tamil didn`t do well there, and I was not really happy working in Tamil either. I had a bad experience working in that film. So I am not really keen to work in Tamil films in future, unless a good opportunity comes in. Though I was offered the Tamil version of Pokiri, I was unable to work for it then due to clash of dates with the other Tamil film I was doing.
How do you feel being the highest paid actress in Telugu?
Who said that I am highest paid? All those are rumors, and I do not think I am at that level where people cannot reach me! I am reasonably paid ..not over-paid definitely.
Heard that you are doin a Hindi film and are about to leave Tollywood?
That`s a rumor too - there`s nothing of that sort of as of now! I am very much available and am doing more films and am more comfortable here.
Being a celebrity dont you miss friends and family more?
Not really. I know many people who like to leave everything for this stardom! I am very fortunate to get this life. I haven`t missed much as I do not have many friends. I have very little, close circle of friends, and I am always in touch with them. And whatever I am today, my family was always there for me. I am very fortunate that way too.
How did the flops like Khatarnak and Munna affect you?
See, for any film, we do the same hard work and it`s not like we work less for a flop film. Will the flops affect us? Surely, yes! But nothing is in our hands. And, I do not think everyone keeps giving hits constantly, right?
Whats your next project after Bhale Dongalu?
As of now, I am on a vacation with my family and am just catching up with things and taking rest. I haven`t yet signed any new film yet.

Tell us about your next film `Kantri`? What did you like in the film?
I cannot reveal you what Kantri is about, but I enjoyed doing the film. Meher Ramesh told me the story last year with dialogues. I liked the story and immediately accepted to do the film. The film is a good 2 and 1/2 hour entertainer. No lengthy dialogues or any such thing. Acombination of action and love and everyone will definitely like the film. My role will be definitel liked by my fans. I am shown differently.

You are a classical dancer and you have danced in the film also for the first time. Why didnt you do classical dance in other films.

Director appraocched me and asked me to show my classical dance. I said if the story requires I will do. Immediately he made a tune specially for my dance and asked me to perform and I did it.

Any plans to do a film based on dancing.

I did not plan for anything or I do. If a like the story I accept it and do it with full devotion. but yes. I have an inner desiore to do a film like Kamal sir`s Sagarasangamam`.

What`s your opinion on present day politics. It is heard that the film has powerful Political dialogues.

No Politics please. I dont hve that experience to talk about politics nor I have time. My full concentratrion is on making good films. And in the film nothing of that sort will be seen nor in any of my films. If few dialogues are needed for the story they will be presented but not addressing any party or so. Whatever I do it is for the audience and my fans.

You have got a mass image i the audience. Are you trying to come out of that image.

Fans have given me such a respect within a short span of time. It is now a bit hard for me to come out of that image. Till Yamadonga people of thought of NTR as a mass hero. But Yamadonga proved that even NTR can generate humour and do comedy on screen. Slowly I am trying to shift my image and do all kinds of roles. I have full faith on my fans that they will accept me in whatever role I do.

Whats your opinion on multistarrer films.

I am ready to do such films. If any director comes to me and tell me the story and my role in his film and if I am satisfied, I will definitely act in that film. Change should be brought in the industry and that can be done in our generation. You will get a good competition with that change.

Will you continue singing in your films.

I did it just like that for fun in Yamadonga and Kantri. Idont have any special interest in singing in every film.

How are you maintaining your slim personality.

Its all on th people surrounding me. they praise me for my now personality and I am trying to maintain it. I have come to this structure with a tough hardwork. I know the pain in it and thats why I am exercising regularly to maintain it.
